3 Cheese Sausage Dip
Ingredients
6 Links of assorted Queen City Sausage; brats, smoked sausage and beef smoked sausage. Dice 2 links for cheese sauce. Slice the remaining 4 links for dipping on skewers
8 OZ Cream cheese
1 Cup Sour cream
1 Cup Shredded cheddar cheese
¼ Cup Chopped green onions
¼ Cup onions. Diced
1 Large, round sourdough or rye bread loaf
2 OZ Olive oil
Instructions
Cut a deep well in the center of the bread. Be careful not to cut too deep so the bottom is intact. The bread becomes the cheese dip-bowl. Dice the bread core for dipping slices. In a medium non-stick skillet, add olive oil to brown the 2 links of diced sausages. Let the skillet cool to warm. Add the cream cheese to soften with the browned sausage. Add the softened cream cheese and sausage to a bowl. Add the sour cream. Add the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir thoroughly. Add the cheese/sausage batter to the center of the bread loaf. Assemble sausage dippers with bread and sausage slices.
