Beef Smoked Sausage Crumble Pierogies
Ingredients
14 OZ Queen City Sausage Beef Smoked Sausage – Skinless. 3 Links—diced
1 Box -16 OZ Mrs. T’s Pierogies, filled with Classic Cheddar-whipped potatoes
1 Cup, shredded cheddar
½ Onion—diced
½ Red bell pepper—diced
1 TSP Coarse ground pepper
2 OZ Olive oil
2 OZ Butter
Yields 4 Servings
Instructions
Preheat cast iron to medium-low heat. Add: Olive oil, sausages, onions, red pepper, ground pepper and sauté. Remove and keep warm (foil). Add butter and pierogies to brown. Cover to heat evenly. Flip to brown other side. Add shredded cheddar. Cover to melt. Add the sausage mixture, cover for 5 minutes—low heat—serve.
