Easy Sausage Fried Rice
Ingredients
4 Each Links—Queen City Sausage Beef Smoked Sausage. Crumbled
1.5 Cups of long grain rice such as Jasmine. Follow package instructions. Ideally make the day before and refrigerate. Add to the skillet cold
6 OZ Carrots—shredded
6 OZ Brussel sprout. Trimmed and cut in half
½ Onion—sliced
3 Eggs-beaten—set aside
3 TBS Low sodium soy sauce
2 TBS Sesame oil
Serves 4
Instructions
Large, non-stick skillet. Medium-low heat. Add oil, sausage, carrots, onions, and Brussel sprouts. Sauté. Push sautéed sausage and vegetables to one side of skillet. Add light coat of oil and pour in eggs to open side and quickly scramble. Quickly blend the eggs in with the vegetables while constantly stirring to blend. Add the rice and soy sauce. Blend in and serve immediately.
