Smoked Sausage Rotini
Ingredients
1 PK—6 Links Queen City Sausage –Skinless Smoked Sausage. Halved slices
1 LB Dried rigatoni
1 Can (28 OZ) crushed tomatoes
4 Cloves of garlic, diced
2 TSP Oregano leaves
1 Medium onion, diced
4 TBS butter
¼ Cup Olive oil
2 TBS apple cider vinegar (Optional)
1 TBS Sugar
1 TBS Coarse ground pepper
4 OZ Asiago cheese to garnish
Instructions
Prepare the rigatoni according to package instructions. Brown the sausage in a medium sized skillet, medium-low heat. Add the onions and garlic with the sausages. Add the oregano, butter, sugar, pepper, apple cider vinegar and tomatoes. Blend well. Add the cooked, drained rigatoni to a bowl or plates. Top with the sauce. Add the cheese to garnish.
