COPYCAT CRACKER BARREL’S HASH BROWN CASSEROLE with SMOKED SAUSAGE

Ingredients

—4 Links: Queen City Sausage, Hot Smoked Sausage.  Diced

—2 LBS. Frozen hash browns

—2 Cups Crushed cornflakes

—2 Cups Grated cheddar cheese

—1 Can Cream of chicken soup

—1 PT. Sour cream

—1/2 Cup Diced onion

—1 TSP. Salt

—1/2 TSP Pepper

—1/4 Cup Melted butter

Directions

  1. Defrost the hash browns

  2. Combine the cheese, sour cream, soup, onions, salt, pepper, and butter in a large bowl.

  3. Add in the hash-browns and add the contents in a 3 quart casserole dish

  4. Sauté the cornflakes in butter and add as a topping to the casserole

  5. Add in the diced sausages to cover the top

  6. Cover and bake for 40 minutes at 350 F

  7. Uncover and bake an additional 12 minutes or so
