GNOCCHI WITH SMOKED SAUSAGE & BRUSSELS SPROUTS

Ingredients

·         3 Links of favorite Queen City Sausage Brand sausages.  Sliced and halved

·         1 LB. Gnocchi—Cook according to package instructions.  Save about ¾ cup of pasta water

·         1 LB. Brussels sprouts (halved)

·         3 Cloves garlic, minced

·         3 TBL. Olive oil

·         2 TBL. Butter

·         ½ Cup Yellow onion.  Diced

·         ½ Cup buttermilk or whole milk

·         ½ Cup Grated parmesan cheese

·         2 TBL. Flour

·         Salt and pepper

Directions

1.       Large skillet, medium heat, add the olive oil, onions, and Brussel sprouts to Sautee.  Add the cooked gnocchi and a small amount of the pasta water.  Cover briefly to finish the Brussell sprouts

2.       Add the cheese, milk, and flour

3.       Add the sausages and garlic

4.       Salt and pepper to taste

Yield: Serves 4
