Grilled Cheese Sausage Waffle Fries

Ingredients

—1 LB. Bag Frozen Waffle Fries.  Ideally seasoned

—4 Links of favorite Queen City Sausage, smoked sausage.  Cut in 1/2 and butterfly

—8 Slices of American cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F

  2. Add the waffles fries and butterflied sausages to a sheet pan and bake for 10 minutes

  3. Remove pan and turn over waffle fries and sausages.  Place back into the oven for about 5 minutes.  Remove from the oven

  4. Assemble the waffle fries and sausages and add cheese

  5. Place waffle sandwiches back into the oven with broiler set to low for about 30-40 seconds to melt cheese

YIELD: 8 Waffle Sandwiches
